The music was disco style with a DJ and lots of flashing lights and smoke machines. I couldn't get anywhere near the stage because it was so packed with Scouts jumping and dancing and singing. I'm sure many of our Scouts were able to get to the front as I saw them snaking their way through the crowds.
During the dance the Scout shop was open to buy souvenirs, which I did. The bank was also open so that the Scouts could withdraw money to go buy stuff, including candy bars and Irn Bru, which was sold in 1 Litre bottles. There seems to be some kind of pride in being able to chug Irn Bru, or so I've seen some of the Scottish Scouts do in camp.
